Sharing this awesome booty workout from @nathaliamelofit today ・・・ Leg day got me like I believe that a good training program must include progressive overload and , in my opinion, exercises that will help you " to do more over time". The first exercise I did mostly for glute activation with the lateral kick and a squat. The second exercise, the Bosu ball Overhead Squat is awesome because of the unstable surface, it makes me focus on what I am doing and create a better mind n muscle connection. Having a good mind and muscle connection will DEFINITELY help you with bigger compound lifts like Barbell Squats, Deadlifts, Chest press... Happy training, guys!!

Happy with yourself, your relationships, your home, and your workplace. What does that look like for you? Now create a plan on how you'll get there. Don't put the pressure of a time limit on your vision but work at it everyday. Getting to that place will take hard work and you'll need to do things to keep yourself on track when you want to give up. I suggest doing things like turning off music and listening to personal development, creating a vision board that you can look at daily and most important PLAN!! Plan your day, your week, your meals, make small goals of things you want to accomplish. Successful people don't walk without a purpose, you can not succeed at weight loss for example without meal prepping or planning in advance when you'll workout. You can be truly happy with every aspect of your life but you need to take control and make it happen. We all get the same 24 hours in a day what you choose to do with that time will determine your happiness. Ask yourself can I go an hour less with sleep so I can work out, how can I get to that promotion and what can I do to stay motivated daily? You can do this just start taking the steps to get it all under control. At any point in time we have the power to change and become who we really want to be. TAG someone who understands this lol I've been there! _ Be patient give your body time weight loss or physical transformation is not easy. I've seen people start a program and either gain weight or not lose weight for up to 2-3 weeks. It's okay that's your body adjusting to the new plan. This is especially true if you have a history of yo-yo dieting, not eating breakfast, having 2 meals a day, or have overused diet pills. I'm the kind of coach who will try and preserve your thyroid and metabolism so I don't rely on caffeine and fat burners to lose weight. I do offer them but I try and start my clients off without so we can get your metabolism going strong prior. Getting your body into a far burning state naturally takes time so be patient. It took time to put weight on it's gonna take time to get it off. Everyone's body is different and we have to heal our organs on the inside before our body let's go of fat or builds muscle. Stay steady on your program if you just started and trust the process. Use measurements and photos to judge your weight loss don't solely rely on the scale. Please don't forget that scale only measures your relationship with gravity it doesnt define you!! I always do my cardio in a waist trainer. I feel I get better results using it consistently. I get mine from @rockcandy.gear use my discount code Mariza5 _ This is a sport corset made to workout in you have to have room to breathe to be safe, DO NOT crush your ribs buy your size not a size smaller!! I have been using these during my cardio for over a year. This was a must when I competed. I used it 7 days a week to do my cardio I personally like sweating extra in my midsection. I feel like it really helped bring my abs out with the release of water constantly over my preps. I've seen other people say it's helped them and they wore it all day which is great it's not what I do. This is not a corset from the 1800's that you tie till you can't breathe I believe that can be very dangerous. You buy your size and wear it lose enough to breathe like I said I like the extra sweat during cardio. Nothing works without proper diet and exercise this is like any supplement you can't just throw this on and expect to loose your whole midsection in a week. Have realistic expectations going into this. It does work I use it myself daily but you gotta put the work in!!

BOOTY BUILDING This is a 4 variation booty and let's on the smith machine. First is Curtsy Lunges for your outer thighs or saddle bag area, next put your legs together knees touching feet out then squat for outer thighs, after I did sumo squats feet out wide, toes point to the corners and squat, I finished with regular squats I did that because I wanted to get the surround muscles tired so my booty did the most work. Grow booty GROW this will tone and tighten your entire upper thighs. I would finish your day with calves not shown here to even you out. I did reps of 15 of each exercise for 4 rounds nonstop. A bend in the road is not the end of the road…unless you fail to make the turn.- Unknown _ I've had a few times in my life I've felt lost and I realized I was anchored in place anchored by feelings of hurt, anger, and hopelessness. What help me move forward was being able to talk about those things. After years of feeling stuck I finally let myself feel those emotions and I wrote them down as I cried. I know it sounds cliche but if you feel a certain way try writing a letter about how you feel and be detailed. It's harder than it sounds but I sear it helps. When your done you can either send the letter to someone who caused you the emotion or you can burn it. Once you get those feelings out you'll feel brand new. I find the majority of people I help with weight issues have a big emotional block. That block doesn't let them be who they want and most times they turn to food, we refer to them as emotional eaters. We use food for comfort and rather than feeling things that hurt us we eat to forget. This is a double negative because we eat to feel better but end up with horrible self esteem because we are unhealthy, some overweight and some just yo-yoing and never getting where they want physically. Deal with emotion family it's the key to your success in life. You can be who you want but you have to learn to face things head on even when they are hard and hurt you. Learn to heal from the inside so you can get to your goals on the outside. Some shoulder variations here with rear delts to start out. I know IG is filled with all these innovative workouts but sometimes simple is best and most effective. When I first started training I learned basic movements and was taught strict form now it's what's referred to as old school moves. These in my opinion are the most effective moves when trying to build shoulder muscle. Front raises, lateral raises, rear delts, and I also did overhead press not shown here. JoyBell _ I've had over 3 conversations with 3 different people over the weekend about "letting go" and I'll admit it was an issue that someone pointed out to me. Sometimes in relationships someone pisses us off and rather than addressing the issue we ignore it and then everything they do after that bothers us. It bothers us more than it usually would but because we didn't address that first issue. Like the quote says you can't hold on to anger you have to allow it to flow. Too many of us choose not to speak up when there is an issue and that's stagnant water inside you. Let it flow, let it out, speak up and know it's for you and your happiness. Personal relationships are hard but they are worth it. We need companionship to elevate ourselves in personal and professional. As the New Year progresses as I dive deeper into my training and cardio I feel my mind shifting and becoming more positive. That stagnant water is leaving me and I feel light and free. Time is so precious and too many times in my life I've felt I just let it slip right through my fingertips. I can't tell you how many times I told my kids "not right now" or "I can't" because of work or my own selfishness. Before fitness I had times that I just had no energy or I didn't feel like playing with them because of how I felt inside. I have 4 kids 2 older ones. My oldest son I had when I was 15 and my mom and dad raised him from 3-6 even to this day I wish I could take that time back with him. I never want to look back and feel that way again. I couldn't raise him because I had to work and I was in a horrible mindset at the time being with them and away from me was best. I was toxic emotionally and it was spilling over into everything. That's why now it's so important for me to take time to make myself better. Eating right and working out makes me feel better about who I am and I'm a better mom when I do that. Im able to deal with emotional stuff and my mind is clear and I can focus on the moments I'm in. My mood is better, my energy is better and most importantly my mind is clear. It's so crazy what 60 minutes a day of physical exercise will do for you inside and out. How eating good clean foods and nourishing your body clears your head of negative thoughts. If your feeling overwhelmed, tired all the time and stressed out I encourage you to start taking time out for yourself. Do something for you that will in turn help you be better. It's not selfish to take care of you I know too many of us think that. Go to the gym, meal prep, start taking walks around the block but get moving. Watch how relationships around you change, it's hard at first but your worth it. The way to succeed at your goal is to never give up! Don't accept excuses that you give yourself and don't listen to people who tell you that you can't do it. So I decided I would like to get on stage and compete again in #NPC in 2017 I was 3x qualified a few years back and I'm ready to get back to it. I have work to do in the gym to get back to square one so let's do it. My hamstrings in my opinion are my weakest point so I'll be isolating them 3x a week. Reverse Hack Squat _ It is a compound movement that does not merely isolate the hamstrings but becomes a vital strength exercise targeting overall leg development. When performing the exercise, the core is engaged throughout the movement which makes it even more athletic and challenging. _ How to do Reverse Hack Squat Load up the hack machine with the desired amount of weight. Position yourself in a way so that the pads support your chest and shoulders. Stand with you feet at shoulder width apart and disengage the safety bars of the machine. Lower the weight down till your thighs are almost parallel to the floor. Pause for a moment at the bottom position. Push the weight up to the starting position. Perform for the desired number of reps.
