I really miss when G was a newborn and I could work out with him starched to me I worked out almost all 9 months of my pregnancy so the movement was very soothing to G most times he fell asleep. It's very hard to leave your baby after the first 6 weeks so I encourage all my new moms to workout at home as much as possible. Find what works for you and your baby I know for me G liked being close and hated the swing or car seat so this is what was best for us. I suggest light 30 min workouts try not to push to hard so your not sweating if you do be sure to put a towel between you and your baby so they don't get hot. Take lots of breaks and drink a lot of water. If you decide to put your baby is a carrier like me move slow, no jumping and no upside down movements. _ As a breastfeeding mom I use Herbalife meal replacements in my diet it's the only thing I could find that was safe to drink for my situation. Got a little workout in today at this point I'm just trying to keep blood in the muscle so I don't lose too much while healing with this broken leg. Now that I can put weight on my leg I did deadlifts, leg abduction, rows for back, leg lifts for lower abs and ended with single leg deadlifts on one side. Don't be stressed about the holidays and weight gain use these tips to help you. _ •During the holidays I start my day out with 30-45 minutes of early morning cardio. It helps me make better decisions during the day, I do this on Thanksgiving and Christmas mornings. _ •Drink a gallon of water daily this will help keep you full and prevent you from overeating. _ •If your having a holiday dinner stick to your meal plan for breakfast and lunch there is no need to ruin the whole day. _ •Enjoy your holiday meal and remember this one meal is not going to make you gain 10 pounds if you stick to a good meal plan the rest of the time and your working out. _ •Enjoy yourself have dessert and drinks don't deprive or feel guilty this is a lifestyle and no one diets 100% of the time. _ •Limit the number of high-calorie foods on your party plate. Research has shown that when faced with a variety of foods with different tastes, textures, smells, shapes, and colors, people eat more―regardless of their true hunger level. Cutting down on your personal smorgasbord can decrease what you end up eating by 20 to 40 percent. _ •Choose foods wisely, filling your plate with low-calorie items, such as leafy green salads, vegetable dishes, and lean proteins, and taking smaller portions of the richer ones. That way, you can eat a larger amount of food for fewer calories and not feel deprived. _ •Pop a sugar-free mint in your mouth. Here is some recent progress. I haven't been training as hard as I normally do and I'm doing no cardio with this injury. So far I have been able to maintain it's been rough as I'm still #hypothyroid and I'm still #breastfeeding G on top of having a #brokenleg ahh the struggles lol. I'm on my meal plan and using Herbalife which has been key for me. I think the biggest part is I feel great and I have a lot of energy.
