️ This is a photo I took during my walk a month ago. I just wanted to share it because I keep getting asking if there is desert and kangaroos everywhere in Australia I can't help but laugh. This is a 3 minute drive from my house !! For the people wanting to visit Australia, it's beautiful! The people here are so relaxed and friendly. It's honestly the most beautiful place in the world to me. I feel so lucky and blessed to have grown up here. Anyone who's even THINKING of coming, DO IT! So as you know I'm travelling at the moment so I just thought I'd give you ladies a few tips for travel! These are just things I've noticed helped, so hopefully they help you on your next trip!! 1️⃣ Buy travel tablets. You dissolve these in water and they are full of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes for hydration! 2️⃣ Drink WATER!! If it's cold, drink warm herbal tea 3️⃣ Water for your skin is also important (I break out when my skin gets dry) You need products that will keep your skin hydrated ('drunk elephant' has a good natural one!) 4️⃣ Bring good walking shoes!! 5️⃣ Research amazing food places in that country BEFORE you go there so you don't end up eating junk food on the run 6️⃣ Get a massage! Planes are horrible sometimes, look after your body by giving it a good stretch out! 7️⃣ Stay off your phone! Put your phone away and enjoy the moment www.kaylaitsines.com/app

Often when talking about social media people reference 'highlight reels’. This is where people only upload the BEST parts of their lives on social media and are sometimes criticised for not showing all “real” aspects of their life. I don't necessarily think highlighting happiness is a bad thing, it nice to have positive memories and share your favourite parts of your life. For people on the outside looking in though, this is often misinterpreted and believed that people's lives are perfect, and sometimes this makes us questions “why isn’t my life like that?” I thought it would be nice to give you an example about me. I have had an absolutely amazing start to 2017 and feel so blessed at the opportunities I have to travel the world with my career, that I am so passionate about. I have been book touring to 3 countries already, more than 10 cities and met so many beautiful women from the #bbgcommunity and that makes me smile each day. In between those photos and those amazing opportunities are other aspects of my life that aren’t always seen -such as missing my family and friends, lack of sleep, crossing multiple time zones, living in and out of suitcases etc. I am not looking for any sympathy at all, because I love what I do, and believe I’m so blessed to have these opportunities. What WE ALL need to do is remember that everyone on social media whether 100 or 100 million fans, like everyone else you follow, is a REAL person. We all have days where we eat bad food, as women we all get our period and stay in bed, we get sick and take days off work, we get pimples, get angry, upset, anxious, frustrated. We all are fighting our own battles. But usually none of that is shared. So if you ever ask yourself “why isn’t my life like that?”, instead why don’t you ask, “how do I make my life happier?” Instead of idolising a person who YOU THINK has a perfect life or perfect things….. lets focus on making YOUR life a happy story, you would be proud to tell. Realise that there are no super humans in this world. There's only us. So let's support each other in our journeys but at the same time, be grateful and appreciative for what WE have in OUR lives. www.kaylaitsines.com/app

Im going to repost this for my followers who haven't read this yet. My oldest client was over 70 years old. Her name was Maggie and she was English, very proper. She told me on the first day that the only reason she came to me because "the doctor told me to" she said, "apparently I need to build some strength ". On her first session she was very set in her ways with what she wanted to do. "I don't want to do any of these machines- just one or two pound weights like this" (she did a bicep curl action) I said "and why do you only want to do that?" And she said .... "Because I'm far too old for all that other stuff". I said "okay ... I want you to walk foward, lay down quickly on the ground and get up". She said "I'm not doing that!". When I asked her why, she said..."because I won't be able to get back up!!". I said, "exactly my point". She rolled her eyes and for 4 weeks we practised just that. 1 year later she walked into one of her sessions with a bruised swollen face, cuts on her hands and arms. I was sitting down at the time on the work computer, looked up and jumped up straight away. "OMG WHAT HAPPENED". She said ... "I fell over...now, I don't want to train today because I'm sore... but I came in because I wanted to say something. I hate you sometimes miss kayla... but I do thank you. I hate you for making me do those silly burpee things!!!... but I want to thankyou ... because I slipped and I fell on my face in the rain ...and automatically, I pushed myself up off the ground and stood back up!". I said nothing, raised my eyebrows and gave her a cheeky smile ....she rolled her eyes, smiled and walked out.
